"The children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside. Give them a sense of pride and make it easier, let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be.".............

Verse from song - The Greatest Love of All

Namegiving or naming ceremony is an occasion when a new life is celebrated and welcomed into the world. It is a time for joy, hope and acceptance.

A namegiving is not a christening or baptism as such ceremonies are by definition religious. Many parents believe that a child should choose their own value system when they are of an age and maturity capable of doing so.

The namegiving ceremony therefore does not inhibit a child in any way from making any future decisions on their own religious beliefs.

Family relationships are deepened as the child is introduced and welcomed, not only by the close family circle, but also by the community, represented by the wider circle of family and friends. The parents and Godparents (also known as Mentors or Guardians) become more fully aware of their responsibility in bringing up a child.

Margaret's namegiving ceremonies are relaxed, caring and a very meaningful experience. There are some very beautiful ceremonies available, including a candle lighting or a tree planting ceremony. Godparents (Mentors or Guardians) are appointed and a special recognition is given during the ceremony to the child's grandparents, acknowledging the important role they take in the child's development.

Beautifully finished certificates are included and presented to the child, godparents (guardians or mentors) and Grandparents as a memento to record the special event
